For part of each day the children

learn and play in fields and

woodland adjoining our Nursery

and at nearby Rushall Farm Outdoor Educational Centre.

Children will have the opportunity to explore and discover the outdoor environment.

There are many learning,

play and hands-on

experiences for your child

to participate in.

Through outdoor play, with effective support from adults, the children will have the opportunity to:

• learn with enjoyment and challenge.
• explore, develop and represent learning experiences that help them make sense of the world and environment they live in.
• practise and build up ideas, concepts and skills.
• be alongside others as they talk, play and share experiences together.
• think creatively and imaginatively.
• communicate with others as they investigate or solve problems.
