Our Nursery Staff
Staff training and development is extremely important to us.
In May 2005 we achieved the Investors in People standard.
Our aim is that every member of staff has a formal childcare qualification or is working towards one
The Nursery is owned by Jackie and Andrew Webber. They have run it since 1997 and take an active role in all activities.
Jackie is a qualified teacher and has taught in State and Independent primary schools as well as in a Special School. She works in the Nursery with the 3 & 4 year old children and also prepares the food. In February 2007 Jackie gained Early Years Professional Status.
Andrew has a level 3 qualification in childcare, a Masters degree in Business Studies as well as formal Agricultural qualifications. He works part-time with the 3 & 4 year old children and runs the business side of the Nursery. He has a keen interest in outdoor learning. Andrew gained Early Years Professional Status in October 2007.
Eva Hughes was the Nursery Manager but is now on Maternity leave. She has a degree in Linguistics, a NNEB and gained Early Years Professional Status in 2011.
Sophie Bieny is the Nursery Manager and has a Diploma in Childcare and Education and a Level 4 Nursery Management qualification. She oversees the running of the Nursery and works with all the children.
Nicole Rumble is a Nursery practitioner who has a level 3 qualification in childcare. She works with the 1 year old children and is the supervisor of the baby room.
Diana Bates is a qualified teacher and works on a part-time basis with the 3 & 4 year old children on the Outdoor Learning Programme. She has two young children of her own.
Tracy Reynolds is a Nursery practitioner who has a level 3 qualification in childcare and she works with the 3 & 4 year old children. She runs the educational programme for the older children. Tracy has two older children of her own.
Janeth Lachi Tuanama is a Nursery practitioner and has a level 3 qualification. She works with the 2 year old children and has a child of her own.
Lucy Moorby is a Nursery practitioner who has a level 2 qualification in childcare, she works with the 2 year old children.
Kerry Breakspear is a Nursery practitioner and has a level 2 qualification and is currently studying towards a level 3. Kerry works with the 1 year old children.
Alisha Pocock is a Nursery practitioner and has a level 3 qualification. She works with the 3 & 4 year old children.
