The Orchard Day Nursery, in my mind, is completely unique to other nurseries in the area. I cannot fault the nursery in any aspect and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for childcare. It is a true gem of a nursery
The outdoor setting (come rain or shine) is a unique point that sets the nursery apart from others. Every week Sam comes home telling us they have ‘waded through the woodland leaves in wellies and wetsuits’ or have ‘cooked marshmallows and crumpets over a camp fire.
Thank you for looking after and helping my gorgeous girl become the confident and happy person she is now.
I have never known her have such a strong bond with anyone else before, she really does see you as a friend and a very best one at that.
The small and friendly atmosphere of The Orchard has also helped my youngest Toby (and very clingy baby) settle in well. I never once worried that he would not get the emotional support and care he needed when he was settling in.
I cannot praise the staff enough. The atmosphere is kind and caring yet at the same time they nurture and support my eldest level of learning and I feel he has received an excellent start to his education.
Your lovely welcoming ‘hello’ at the start of the day, your endless patience listening to our same old stories, your cuddles when the children are poorly, your willingness to keep reading stories and your imagination for thinking of exciting new places to take then and of course your patience…..
I am so pleased with her social development outside the nursery and I largely believe this to have come from the staff at The Orchard who have spent time with him, allowing him to learn how to be comfortable with others.
